About Kitara FC ( Kitara Football Club )
Kitara is a football team based in Hoima district in western Uganda.
The team is currently competing in the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Big League, Uganda’s second most competitive national football league.
Kitara FC started in 2010. The team has won over 10 trophies at the district and at regional levels. It is a community founded and owned team with huge attachment to the local communities in Bunyoro.
Kitara fc is an amazing team with massive grass root support. The team is currently preparing to compete in the FUFA big league for the 2019/2020 season.
Owing to success after success, Kitara FC has grown from a village team to a regional team and currently, it is an impeccable club playing in the elite FUFA Big League; not just as a participant but a highly credible Competitor.
The Team attracts more than 50 teams in a season and more than 20 off season in form of friendlies or other competitions etc.
