Mergis Capital is a welding and fabrication business primarily serving construction projects in Uganda. We are highly specialized in steel & aluminum fabrications, Piping Processes, Steel Structural and similar fabrication work.

Our Management Team is made of able Professionals who have vast knowledge, experience and track records in successfully managing multi-million projects in the fields of; construction, industrial complex structures and creative fabrication industries.

Mergis Capital employs Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Fitters and Welders with proven experience and ability to deliver to the highest quality standards of workmanship and exemplary attitude towards safety at work.

We also work in association with select Engineering Consultants with proven practice in the same Industries in other parts of the Uganda.

Safety, Health and Environment

Health, Safety and Environment awareness is major priority for us. The Company has thus developed an Action Plan and Employer/Employee Safety Charter as instruments of managing Health, Safety and Environmental Protection.

The company employs a Safety Advisor. Regular “Toolbox Talks” and Safety Meetings are conducted at all our worksites, and internal Safety Audits carried out to ensure compliance with laid down procedures and regulations.

We take pride in recognitions by our various clients from whom we have received awards for outstanding safety performance. We have also been prompt in implementing lessons learnt from incidents we encountered to prevent recurrence

Quality Assurance

Our Quality Control / Assurance Department ensures that all works are carried out to the highest standards and meet all requirements of the specified Codes of Construction and the Client’s quality requirements.
