About Pearl Cocoa Ltd
Pearl Cocoa Ltd was founded by Muhumuza Arthur and Wamala Brian in 2017 as a logical continuation of their previous activities in Agroallied Consulting Ltd for Arthur and Cocoa Services Ltd for Brian. In addition to their experience on their own farms, both also have many years of experience in the cocoa sector with the structuring and management of agricultural funds and advising investors on direct agricultural investments in Uganda, working with farmer groups in management training and fair trade and organic certification.
As farmers, Arthur and Brian are aware of the importance of long-term productive and sustainable agriculture for environmental conservation and climate preservation and improvement.
We work with farmer groups with combined membership of over 3,000 farmers. We envisage bringing on more farmer groups. The cocoa farmers are from various districts in Uganda including Bundibugyo, Kibale, Masindi, Mayuge, etc. Our main partner in developement is reNature in the Netherlands.
