Lango Development Forum (LDF) was incorporated in Uganda in February 2003. It is a not-for-profit and non–partisan member-based organization affiliated to the Lango Community Association - Kampala Areas. It nevertheless runs its affairs independently. It runs community development projects through support and in partnership with various individuals and reputable organisations that share its vision. Over the years, LDF has worked with and / or received direct and indirect support to run its activities from the following organisations: Uganda Telecommunications Limited, MTN Foundation, District Local Governments of Lango sub-region, media houses, administrators, teachers and students of various schools in Kampala, Wakiso and districts in the Lango sub-region. It is therefore recognised by the government of Uganda, the private sector and international organisations.
