Computer Bytes started its operations in Rwanda in 2001, as a sole proprietorship in 2001 with a registered Share Capital of only Frw 20 million ($50,000 then). In year 2002, the company changed its legal status to a private limited liability company to be known as Computer Bytes s.a.r.l. Following the new government regulations in 2011, the company changed its name to what is now Computer Bytes Ltd.

The Company has since grown from to become one of the leading IT companies in Rwanda in Hardware and Software Sales, Network Installations, Systems Integration and IT Consultancy.

In the past decade therefore, the Company has successfully served the technology needs of more than 300 customers from diverse industries and locations. Our success and growth is keenly attributed to our ability to modulate the business challenges of our customers with cutting-edge technology solutions.

Through our associate companies in East Africa the Company is able to provide IT products and services to a growing regional market.
