Establishment

Established in 1982 in the industrial area in Khartoum North, the production started in 1983.

Company Components

The plant consists of a number of production lines:

•Oil seeds crushing mill of 75,000 tons/year capacity.

•Refinery of 18,000 tons/year capacity.

•Secondary soap production line at 13,000 tons/year.

Objections and products

•The company aims at producing oil seeds, vegetable oils, cake, soap and glycerine to cover local markets and for export.

•The company press different kinds of oil seeds (cotton seeds, sunflowers, groundnuts and sesame).

• Refines its own production and produces to the others, the company owns a unit for manufacturing plastic containers of different sizes.

•The company has a distinctive trade mark.

Capital and shareholders

Authorized capital and fully paid is SDG 90 million. shareholders are:

•AAAID                           51%.

•Government of Sudan             49%.
