Pasico Ghana Limited is a Limited Liability Company incorporated in Ghana on 1st June 1965 to take over the business of the Ghana Branch of Paterson Simons (West Africa) Limited, UK, which had been trading in Ghana since 1948. Paterson Simons & Company (Africa) Limited, UK owns 73% of the shares in Pasico. 17% of the shares are held by local shareholders and the balance 10% by the employees themselves through a Provident Fund. Pasico has a head office in Ghana's capital, Accra, which is also the location of the building materials factories. The engineering team operate from offices and workshops in Tema, close to Ghana's main port. Pasico have a second team of engineers working from Ghana's second port, Takoradi, which has seen recent development as a result of oil finds close to the coast.
