ETAP

The Tunisian Enterprise of Petroleum Activities (ETAP) a public company non-administrative, was created by Law 72-22 

of March 10, 1972 in order to allow the State to increase its control 

and active participation and direct in the various activities of the oil industry.

Its initial mandate was centered on:

•The conduct of all oil character studies;

•The training and development of Tunisian officials in the various branches of the oil industry;

•The possible intervention in all commercial industrial, financial, securities and property directly or indirectly related to hydrocarbons.

Its current mission is focused on the following strategic areas:

•The renewal of the national hydrocarbon reserves.

•The promotion of hydrocarbon exploration in Tunisia.

•The incentive in the exploration of deep gas objectives.

•Farm Management of oil and gas concessions, which is a partner ETAP, and promoting the development of marginal fields.

•The supply of crude oil and gas countries.

•The achievement of technical and economic studies projects related to oil and oil services activities.

•The realization of services in the areas of seismic processing, simulation studies of the deposits and exploration and production laboratories.

•The development of international activities (exploration and production).

•The development of human resources.

Goals

ETAP aims to:

•-Renew the Tunisian hydrocarbon reserves (oil and gas)

•-Promote sustainable development and reduce emissions of CO2 from the hydrocarbon sector,

•-Develop its human capital.
