About RADIO PUBLIQUE AFRICAINE
Since March 5, 2001, Radio Publique Africaine (RPA) has won its letters of nobility in the Burundian media landscape. For the moment, it covers all the territory of Burundi except the southern provinces of Bururi and Makamba. Its waves also sweep through Rwanda, eastern DRC and western Tanzania.
Faithful to its vocation of community radio, of "voice of the voiceless", RPA practices community journalism by reaching out to communities.
Radio Publique Africaine (RPA) has worked for the success of the peace process in Burundi by promoting a dialogue approach. Today, in the context of the country's reconstruction, its role in raising awareness and informing communities is more essential than ever.
