The Burundi Red Cross is a relief organization. It is called upon, at all times, to respond to all forms of vulnerability that arise in the communities. To accomplish its mission, it needs teams capable of preventing, preparing and giving a rapid, adequate and appropriate response to each form of emergency. These teams are set up at the level of community disaster risk reduction committees.
