Radio CCIB FM +, founded in 1995 and located in Bujumbura, is one of the first community radio stations in Burundi. It serves an estimated population of 4,500,000 individuals. Its programs are geared towards empowering local entrepreneurs and in particular young people in order to encourage them to set up their own businesses. The station reports to the Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burundi, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship, trade networks and development in the country. Due to the crisis environment in the country, the radio has set itself the goal of educating the population for peace through education for economic development.
