Associated with the Safari Gate hotel and its restaurant (La Brise), the Paillottes bar-restaurant ("Amapayote"), right by the lake and next to the football field where the President of the Republic trains, is a good place to have a drink, have a breakfast or a meal, or surf the Internet under one of the circular huts. On the lake, the water hyacinths do not hide all the birds and sometimes (rarely) the hippos that roam there. We really like this peaceful place in the afternoon, but beware of mosquitoes in the evening!
