The idea of the creation of Banco da União S.A. in Guinea Bissau is an initiative which dates from year 2004, the sub-regional institutional actors, with the assistance of the CRRAE (Pension fund by Distribution of the Agents of Framing UMOA) wished to put on the baptismal funds in modern banking institution able to answer legitimate expectations of the private individuals and companies of Guinea Bissau. The capital of our establishment entirely was subscribed and released. The shareholders are primarily credible institutions and reliable ones operating in sub-regional. It concerns: • The CRRAE (Pension fund by distribution of the agents of framing of the UMOA) manager of the pension funds of the BCEAO with 55% of the actions; • The BDM-SA (Bank of Development of Mali) with 30% of the actions; • The FUNDEI (Funds of Co-operation of the Small and medium-size companies) created by the Swedish Government in favor of Guinea Bissau with 10% of the actions; • And finally the SOAGA (African Western Company of Management of the Credits) with 5%
