Professor Mahmoud Hashem Abdel Kader, Professor of photochemistry at Cairo University and the President of the German University in Cairo, has been elected as a new associate of the Egyptian Scientific Complex. The privileged choice came as a recognition and acknowledgment of his international scientific output, especially, his Egyptian patent to fight Malaria in Africa which has been, globally, registered in 170 countries. Professor Mahmoud’s accomplishments have been crowned by attaining the State Award for Advanced Technological Sciences for the year 2014. Furthermore, he achieved the Prize of Excellency from Cairo University, 2012, the most prestigious scientific prize submitted by the University.
