Naftal is a joint stock company (JSC) with a capital of DA 15.65 billion. Founded in 1982 and a 100% subsidiary of Sonatrach Group, it is attached to the marketing activity. Its main mission, distribution and marketing of petroleum and timber products on the national market.

It also operates in the field of:

• The barreling of LPG;

• The formulation of bitumen;

• The distribution, storage and marketing of fuels, LPG, lubricants,      bitumen, tires, LPG / fuel, special products;

• The transportation of petroleum products.

To ensure product availability throughout the country, Naftal leverages multiple modes:

• Cabotage and pipes for supply warehouses from refineries.

• The rail for the supply of deposits from the warehouses.

• The road to customer delivery and refueling areas not served by rail depots.

In the era of globalization, Naftal considered it essential the establishment of a new organization by product line (bitumen, lubricants, network, logistics, LPG, air, Aviation, Marine).

Naftal provides nearly 13.3 million tonnes of oil products per year, a figure set to rise with demand growing steadily.

It also established a new medium-term strategic vision oriented customer with an implementation plan.
