THE COMPANY

Kush Petroleum Limited, is a privately owned company Incorporated in Juba Southern Sudan under the New South Sudan Company’s Act, 2003. A copy of the certificate of incorporation is attached as Appendix 1. The company started her operations in Southern Sudan in 2007.

Kush Petroleum Limited’s business is to import, wholesale and retail Petroleum products in the Southern Sudan region. The Company sources a wide range of petroleum products for sale Which include; Jet A1, Diesel, Petrol and Lubricants. Kush Petroleum Ltd was started as a joint venture between Sunrise Petroleum Limited, Sprint Petroleum Limited and Nile Investment.

 

THE COMPANY OPERATING SCOPE

Kush Petroleum Ltd has a wide distribution network covering a large part of the Southern Sudan including Central and East Equatorial states, Lakes State.

The products that are imported from East Africa can be Stored in any of the three company’s Storage and distribution depots at Rumbek, Wau or Juba. In these locations the company has regular staff and fully operational offices interlinked via internet though the use of own VSAT equipment. This provides on-the-ground support to ensure efficiency in product and service delivery to the customers.

The company utilizes its own fleet of local delivery bowsers, that are equipped with pumps and meters to effect local deliveries from the depots.

Kush Petroleum Ltd aims to sustain an efficient, responsible and profitable business with a vision to growing her key player-position in the Southern Sudan’s Energy Sector providing total energy solutions to spur economic growth. The Company consciously strives to living true to its motto of fuelling the entire Region’s Growth irrespective of the unique challenges, which include years of Political and Social conflict, that the country is recovering from.

 

PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY NETWORK

With the support of the consortium Kush Petroleum Ltd is able to procure petroleum products from the major international oil markets, import and transit the products to its customers in the Southern Sudan region through the port of Mombasa. The Kenyan Operation has fuel storage, transportation and handling agreements with Kenya Pipeline, which guarantee sufficient product handling capabilities for Kush Petroleum Ltd requirements The Company has entered into various agreements with established and Reputable transport companies for the trucking of its products throughout the region. This ensures all year round uninterrupted and efficient logistical lines to our customers.

The Company’s vision is to strengthen its position as a leading oil company in Southern Sudan that commands optimum control over the pricing of the whole barrel from sourcing and importation, to distribution and wholesale of the diverse range of petroleum products in the market for the benefit of its customers and shareholders.

 

Kush Petroleum Limited is a leader in Aviation Fuel Services. We provide Plan refueling, Bulk Storage, Drummed Aviation Products and offer Aviation Technical Services support.

CUSTOMER BASE

Kush Petroleum Ltd currently handles a growing customer base consuming over 1,800,000 litres of Jet A-1 products per month.

The Company serves a diverse customer base which includes various Agencies of the United Nations such as the UN World food Programme, Non Governmental Organizations such as ICRC, MSF and commercial sector consumers in Aviation.

We also supply Air Rwanda, Egypt Air, Fly 540, Kush Air, Kenya Airways, Sudan Airways and SPLA Air force among others.
