Product Information
This is a small house plant with ovate hairy leaves and consists of miniature, medium and large species. The large species can get to a maximum of 16cm high
These delightful plants will brighten up any room with their colourful blooms formed on clusters of blue, purple, red, pink, and white. Their flowering period varies however some cultivars bloom all year round if well taken care of.
They are basically indoors so you can have them in your house, office, balcony provided you places them in a spot that receives medium to bright indirect light to induce blooms but not under direct burning sunshine.
They need just enough water to keep them moist but not soggy. African violets are highly sensitive to temperature changes especially rapid leaf cooling so its advisable not to wet their leaves while watering
African violets have long been associated with mothers and motherhood. For this reason they have been a traditional gift for many cultures around the world. They are also associated with Easter and valentine hence they make a perfect gift to your loved one
