RENIRON is recommended to fulfill the nutritional need in pregnant and nursing mothers, growing children, loss of appetite, iron deficiency anaemia, general convalescences and other nutritional deficiencies.

DOSES AND ADMINISTRATION

Pregnancy:

The birth weight of a newborn baby is a true indication of the baby’s I.Q and its future health potential and it is a known fact that proper iron supplementation during pregnancy results in higher birth weights in newborn babies. If you are pregnant and not strict to take rich balanced diet, it is advisable to start taking one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

General anaemic conditions:

If your food habits are not correct, invariably you continue to take ill balanced food and slowly anaemia due to nutritional deficiencies of iron and folic acid will set in. Initially the anaemia will be of the sub clinical type and may not be detected. However you will start feeling easily tired, feeling sleepy and generally lazy. One RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food will normalize everything within one month.

If you are suffering from piles, many time you will be losing blood and if the piles become bleeding for a long time, you are certain to become anaemic, it is advisable to take one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you are suffering from hookworm infestation, it is quite possible that you may not know about it in the beginning and as the side effect like anaemia set in, it is advisable immidiately to start one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you are suffering from excessive blood loss during your monthly periods, you are certain to become anaemic and must start one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you are having duodenal ulcer, you are bound to lose blood and become anaemic and it is advisable to start one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you had one or two severe attack of malaria, you are certain to have anaemia and it is advisable to take one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you have had a miscarriage, you will definitely become anaemic and it is advisable to start taking one RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food.

If you are an athlete or an active footballer, a long distance runner etc., then you will need more oxygen and for this you need blood rich with red blood cells and for this iron supplementation is necessary.One RENIRON capsule a day after food or 10ml (2 teaspoonfuls) RENIRON syrup twice daily 15 minutes before food readily gives the extra iron needed to enrich the blood.

CONTRAINDICATION

RENIRON is contraindicated in sickle cell anaemia.

Side effects

During RENIRON regimen, the faeces may get very black. There is no need for any alarm since it is due to iron. In some cases there may be a slight tendency for constipation and in some cases mild laxation may result
