If you are looking for a must do activity in Jinja and volunteer all on the same day? – Then look no further. This package offers you the perfect combo. You will spend your morning volunteering with Soft Power Education (SPE), one of a few organisations that was first established in Jinja back in 1999. You will join their very popular ‘One Day Volunteer’ Programme assisting with their on-going School Infrastructure Programme or visiting Kyabirwa Children’s Centre (KCC). Painting or assisting the pre-school teachers in the class room you will have a morning full of fun. After a bite to eat overlooking the Nile, you will explore the real beauty of Jinja by bike on an exclusive mountain bike ride with Bikeventures Uganda. You will spend your afternoon cycling through wetlands, village and hills with breath-taking views.

Bike and Cruise: Sunset on the Nile
If you are looking for a combination of exercise and relaxation, we have the ideal combo for you. Take a ride around the outskirts of Jinja Town. Bike the red dirt tracks, to discover the beautiful landscapes and nature. After a beautiful MTB route, you will arrive at Nile River Explorers (NRE) where you will cruise down the Nile by boat and enjoy the sunset and local beer(s).

- A boat cruise on the Nile with drinks included.

Bike and Kayak @ Jinja or Bujagali
If you are looking for a combination of cycling and kayaking, this is the ideal combo for you. You can choose two different types of combos for the two activities by their location. You can either choose to do it at the Source of the Nile or at Bujagali.
At the Source of the Nile Kayak and Bike Combo you will ride through the history of Jinja, and discover the Source of the Nile by a Kayak with Kayak the Nile. The guide will give you background information on Lake Victoria.
At the Bujagali Kayak and Bike Combo, you will ride through the beauty of Bujagali with an experienced tour guide. You will then take a Kayak onto the Nile, learning about the River and discovering even more beautiful nature from the water with Kayak the Nile.

Bike and SUP @ Jinja or Bujagali
If you are looking for a combination of cycling and SUP (stand-up peddle boarding), this is the ideal combo for you. You can choose two different types of combos for the two activities by their location. You can either choose to do it in Jinja at the Source of the Nile, or in Bujagali on the river Nile.
At the Source of the Nile Stand-Up Paddling and Bike Combo you will ride through the history of Jinja, and discover the Source of the Nile by a SUP board with Nile Sup. The guide will share and show Lake Victoria by peddles and challenge your balance by standing on the board.
At the Bujagali Stand-Up Paddling and Bike Combo you will ride through the beauty of Bujagali with an experienced tour guide. You will then take a SUP board onto the Nile, learning about the river and discovering even more beautiful nature from the water with Nile Sup.

Ride to Weavery
This excursion shows you the most beautiful weavery in Jinja. Ride outside the town to arrive at Kilombera Weaving Factory – (Kilombera) is the name of a rare weaver bird found in parts of East Africa. Find out how Kilombera products are made, and meet the locals who hand weave a range of beautiful home crafts. The visit to the Kilombera Weaving Factory is free of charge, you can buy products at their shop to support them if you wish to do so.

Ride to Dine
Ride to dine with Bikeventures. Bike the red dirt roads, arrive at the 5* lodge and enjoy a swim and a luxurious lunch. This excursion is a challenging route – but once you ride to your destination, you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for a high end, beautiful dining experience then this is the excursion for you. Bike through the beautiful Ntenjeru town full and discover the awesome tree plantations. When you arrive at The Kipling Lodge, located on the stunning banks of the River Nile, you will enjoy your three course lunch and pool entry. Once you are ready to leave (before 5.30pm), a vehicle will drive you back to BV office.
