Service Information
Beacon Educational Service started in 2006 with 3(three students). It currently has 16(sixteen) Students and the number of lecturers have increased from 2(two) to 6(six). About 70 trainees have gained skills from Beacon limited. It is located in Western ward, Rukungiri municipality. It is an initiative started by a secondary College teacher Mr. Peter Waako Tumwesigye (Dip Ed Bss, Dip BPA, and Cert computer Aware). It offers services in computer Education, commercial education, vocational education and general Education. We have since October 2009 named it Rukungiri Beacon ICT and Business College
The following courses are offered by the College at diploma and certificate level. Normally on completion of six months to two years:
Computer technology(information Technology)
Computer studies
Computer repairs and maintenance
Business computing
