ZAM is a professional knowledge supplier providing evidence-based policy advocacy and demand-driven value-added services to its members. We make policy interventions in a variety of areas that regulate business, give technical advice to members on taxation among other issues, and participate in national budget planning. Our range of services is as dynamic as the policy framework that regulates business, but companies joining ZAM can expect to benefit from the following services offered by the Secretariat:

•Representation to the government on issues of concern such as infrastructure, dumping, counterfeits, sub-standard andun-customed goods;

•Access to business information on such trade regimes as the East African Community (EAC) and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA,NULL,1), South African Development Community (SADC,NULL,1), African Caribbean & Pacific-European Union (ACP-EU,NULL,1), and the World Trade Organisation (WTO);

•Representation of budget proposals to the government;

•Access to technical advice on taxation;

•Participation in ZAM seminars and workshops on topical issues;
