SALARY PAYMENT

Introducing yet another outstanding Zampost innovation! The Civil Servants Salary Payment project, approved by the Secretary to Cabinet Dr Roland Msiska; and licensed by the Bank of Zambia is here.

The vision of this project is to provide convenience to many civil servants especially those serving in the rural parts of the country where there are no banking services. It is also intended to provide an alternative salary payment service in urban areas.

BILL COLLECTION AND PAYMENTS

 Through our computerized payments system,Zampost collects revenue and pays pensions and salaries on behalf of other organisations.We make pension payments for Workers Compesation Fund, African Life Assurance and Public pensions. Food Reserve Agency payments are also done via the post office.

You can also make payments for ZNBC TV Levy and Multi Choice (DSTV) at any post office.

ROAD TRANSPORT AND SAFETY AGENCY

 Zampost is a RTSA designated agent. The partnership with RTSA is to bring convenience to motorists. We facilitate the buying and renewal of road licences at post offices country wide. No need of queuing twice because motor vehicle insurance is also available at post offices

HOW TO SEND MONEY

•NO NEED to fill out a form

•Simply go to the counter and provide your (sender’s) details and receiver’s details

•Money is INSTANTLY available for collection at the receiving office

•SMS notification

•Communicate the following details to the receiver:

1.Transaction number

2.Sender's names

3.Amount sent

4.Where the money is coming from (town of origin)

•A test question should be provided when you know the receiver does not have a valid ID.

•The maximum amount one can send per transaction is K10, 000.

•There is no limit to the number of transactions you can make in a day!!!

HOW TO RECEIVE MONEY

•NO NEED to fill out a form

•Simply go to the counter and provide the following;

1.Transaction number

2.Names of the sender

3.Amount of money to be received

4.Town where the money is coming from

•Present your valid identification of either NATIONAL REGISTRATION CARD or VALID PASSPORT or DRIVER’S LICENCE

•Provide the answer to the test question if necessary

•SMS notification

•No need to have a bank account to receive money.
