Uganda Oil Seed Producers and Processors Association (UOSPA) is an umbrella association of oilseed crop Producers (farming communities) and oilseed crop Processors (oil milling industries). Its current membership stands at 67 small and medium and Large edible vegetable milling industries country wide and 947 farmer groups comprising of 47,350 (21,307 female, 26,043 men) benefiting farmers distributed in 18 (eighteen)districts of; Bugishu, Teso, Lango and Acholi sub-regions. UOSPA, is registered legally as Company Limited by Guaranteed on 8th April, 1994 (registration number 27258) with the goal of; increasing the smallholder members’ income, food and nutrition security and a Vision to make Uganda self-reliance in edible vegetable production and consumption.
