What is Architects Registration Board (ARB)?
Architects Registration Board (ARB) is a Statutory Body established by an Act of Parliament in 1996. The Architects Registration Act, Cap 269 was passed into law to empower regulation and maintenance of the standards and practice of Architecture in Uganda. Regulate the standard of architecture in the country.
The mandate of the Board in accordance with Section 4 of this Act is to;
- Register architects
- Make by-laws for better carrying into effect the provisions of this act
- Prescribe or regulate the conduct of architects in Uganda
- Promote training in architectural sciences
