ABEOKUTA GIRLS’ GRAMMAR SCHOOL was founded in 1955 through the efforts of the Anglican Missionaries of the Abeokuta District Church Council and moved to its permanent Onikolobo site in 1959. The school is an all-girls secondary grammar school offering education from junior to senior levels with boarding and day options. It is unique for being one of the early opportunities for girls’ secondary education in Ogun State, focused on academic excellence, leadership and empowerment of young women, serving Onikolobo, Abeokuta and beyond.
