ALTON — Nigeria’s official telecom operators’ association in Victoria Island, Lagos; industry advocacy, infrastructure protection and QoS/tariff engagement with regulators and government. Formed in 1999 and incorporated in 2000, the Association of Licensed Telecommunications Operators of Nigeria (ALTON) is the Nigerian Communications Commission-recognized industry body for licensed telecoms providers; from its Victoria Island, Lagos office it coordinates policy engagement with federal and state authorities, advances infrastructure protection and right-of-way harmonization, champions quality-of-service and tariff dialogues, and represents mobile, fixed and internet operators nationwide.
