Hippo Studio is a small business in Zimbabwe producing hand painted ceramics. Bringing tableware and homeware that is vibrant and uniquely African-inspired to your table or your home. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind and is hand-signed by the decorator, just one of the many aspects that makes us a “people” business. It all begins in the studio with the Potter pounding the clay and turning his wheel, to the decorators that bring life to each piece with design, colour and individual style, to our kiln packer and glazer and the handful of others that keep busy at their stations.
