About The World Of Bingwa
The World of Bingwa project started in 2009 by Rino and Julie Solberg the founders of Child Africa International, a charity organisation that since 1991 has been helping to educate disadvantaged children in Africa.
The project started with a complimentary Bingwa Magazine distributed to school libraries across the region.
Originally The World of Bingwa Project focused on integrity, however in 2018 a more holistic approach that included environmental education, financial literacy, and healthy living was adapted.
Our impact
When children are exposed to moral values through regular teaching and practice,they not only develop character but become assets to the society as well. The values they learn are also passed down to future generations, when they grow older.
The World of Bingwa Project has been making a positive impact on children in participating schools.

- Diligence and improvement in academic performance:
- Pupils have shown better attentiveness in class and this has led to improvement in their academic performance. Pupil are also more cooperative and take pride in their work.
- Greater sense of responsibility: Pupils have shown a greater sense of responsibility towards school activities and take better care of their personal and school property.
- Classrooms and playgrounds have also become safer and harmonious environments with fewer conflicts.
World of Bingwa strives to achieve it’s mission using a story telling approach delivered through publishing an informative kids magazine, production of themed activity packages (Edubox), story books, films, TV shows, games, and a mobile application.
Since 2009, we have been propagating messages on integrity, environmental education, financial literacy and healthy living to children across Africa.

A CALL FOR PARTNERSHIP
We call upon those with similar objectives as well as those dealing with child-related matters, to partner with us and take advantage of our presence in schools to reach out to children.
We take on advertisements and sponsorships in all our media assets.
Bingwa present the opportunity to establish messaging, campaigns and product presence in schools especially during school activations, run and festivals.
