The Rwanda Stock Exchange Limited was incorporated on 7th October 2005 with the objective of carrying out stock market operations. The Stock Exchange was demutualized from the start as it was registered as a company limited by shares. The company was officially launched on 31st January 2011.
Today, RSE has been adhering to one vision, To be a big contributor to the economic development and key player in leading Rwanda to a Regional Financial Center Status. With the development of the securities market, the channel between national savings and investments is fully unblocked to supply the funds needed for the development of diverse industries, and promote the economic growth.
