Lodge Overview

Bugoma Jungle Lodge is located 5 km off Kabwoya trading center, along Hoima Kagadi Road, 40 km South of Hoima. The lodge is a perfect stop over for lunch or accommodation on route between Murchison Falls National Park and Kibale National Park / Fort Portal. Found in Bugoma Forest protected reserve, you can enjoy nature walks to see the endemic Ugandan mangabeys and hear the sounds of Chimpanzees, it is a wonderful birding destination and many other primates are seen from the lodge.

Bugoma Jungle Lodge is a small eco-friendly Tented Camp, with raised en-suite wooden deck cottages, grass thatched roof and spacious tents.

Guided Nature Walk

Trails are open in Bugoma Central Forest Reserve to go and try to spot the endermic Ugandan mangabeys and other primates.

 Bugoma Jungle Lodge Loop Trail

A 20 minutes guided trail is available free of charge from the private forest of the lodge and you can spot many species of birds and primates like black and white colobus, red tailed monkeys and mangabeys.
